The nine cities within the Wuhan Metropolitan Area are making great strides in the course of building the area into an important growth pole with national influence that leads the development of Hubei, sustains the growth of Central China, and facilitates the integration of China into the world. To help our readers better understand this area, foreign affairs offices from the nine member cities are launching a series of bilingual reports related to "One City, One Brand," presenting their stories.

In this report, we take a look at Wuhan, Ezhou, and Xiaogan to get a glimpse of the development of modern industries in the Wuhan Metropolitan Area.
